NFL Draft cap.
The draft stock of LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels is something of a question mark at this stage in the pre-draft cycle: Having not partaken in the 2024 NFL scouting combine, Daniels will likely throw in front of interested teams on LSU's pro day on March 27.
According to NBC Sports Boston's Phil Perry, the New England Patriots may not be one Daniels' preferred destinations.
On March 4, Perry reported that there are people in Daniels' camp "who would really rather he not go to New England," and that the reason had to do with "climate." Perry added that the Patriots wouldn't view that as a concern, but that Daniels' camp would.
Daniels caught wind of the rumors and seemingly debunked them Tuesday with a single blue cap emoji.

(For those unfamiliar, "cap" is slang for lying.)
The LSU Tiger leaves behind a successful college career that ended with a breakout season: He tossed 40 touchdowns to just four interceptions, with 3,812 passing yards to go with it.
Daniels will likely go in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, but where he may land remains the biggest question. Some have pegged the 2023 Heisman Trophy winner as a top-five selection – the Patriots pick No. 3 overall – while others think he may be slated for the mid-to-late first round.
Regardless, it looks like Daniels would be totally fine with ending up in New England, and that's a fact that should make plenty of Patriots fans happy.
